A: This food can be fed either way. If you choose to feed it in a shallow bowl, I recommend to wet the food prior to feeding. Newts will accept food in and out of water. Feeding this food in the water part of the terrarium/aquarium is the most common practice and is readily accepted by newts. Q: Does the JurassiDiet Newt & Aquatic Frog food float or sink? A: It is a floating pellet; however, once it is saturated it will sink.

Q: In the feeding instructions for your newt food it doesn't
state wether to put the food in a shallow bowl or to just sprinkle
on a rock or something? Can you please clarify this for me. Thank
